Dr. Olga Goodman graduated with honors from Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy, Russia, and practiced medicine as an obstetrician and gynecologist for 10 years prior to moving to the USA in 2006. Upon arrival she completed an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program at the West Michigan University followed by a rheumatology fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. As one of a few triple board-certified rheumatologists in the country she actively maintains her certifications. She attends professional conferences and meetings and serves as an adviser at some of them. Prior to joining Rheumatic Disease Center Physicians she worked at a large multi-specialty group seeing patients with a variety of rheumatic and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Goodman has extensive training in diagnostic and procedural musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is experienced in performing joint and tendon sheaths aspirations and injections, nerve blocks, myofascial injections and other ultrasound guided procedures. She was a Grand Prize Winner of the year in ACR Image competition at the 2014 Annual American College of Rheumatology meeting.
